Job Summary:
We are seeking a patient-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties:

-Assist front store with ringing out items and lottery
- Prepare medications by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and ensuring proper dosages
- Assist in the mixing of pharmaceutical preparations
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Process prescriptions accurately and timely
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Help patients with prescription drop-off and pick-up
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies

Qualifications:
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (Preferred)
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience working in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting (Preferred)
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Strong patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
